[Main Ingredient] Sulfamonomethoxine sodium.

[Properties] This product is a white or off-white powder.

[Pharmacological Action] Sulfonamide antibacterial agent. Sulfamonomethoxine exerts its bacteriostatic effect by competing with para-aminobenzoic acid for dihydropteroate synthase, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid in susceptible bacteria.

[Action and Use] Sulfonamide antibacterial agent. Used for the treatment of bacterial diseases in major aquaculture fish caused by Aeromonas, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Edwardsiella tarda, Vibrio anguillarum, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, etc.

[Usage and Dosage] Based on this product. Mixed with feed: 0.8–1.6 g per1kg of fish body weight per day, with the first dose doubled. Use continuously for 4–6 days.

[Adverse Reactions] No adverse reactions have been observed when used according to the specified method and dosage.

[Precautions]

1. Use with caution in aquatic animals with liver or kidney disease.

2. To reduce kidney toxicity, it is recommended to use in combination with sodium bicarbonate.
